Goodreads Summary:
This collection of oh-so-cute kitty comics—an online cult phenomenon, now for the first time in an adorable gift book—Pusheen combines the online reach of The Oatmeal’s How to Tell if Your Cat Is Plotting to Kill You with the super-sweet appeal of Hello Kitty.
With more than 2 million page views a month, 500,000+ blog subscribers, and 500,000+ Facebook followers, Pusheen is a pleasantly tubby gray tabby cat who has warmed hearts and tickled funny bones of millions worldwide with her signature GIF animated bops, bounces, and tail wiggles. Now, Pusheen is ready to make the leap from digital to print with her first comic collection!
I Am Pusheen the Cat features some of the most popular comics from the website, including Reasons I Love Fall, Career Options for Your Cat, andChristmas To Do List, as well as a healthy serving (at least 25 percent) of never-before-seen material that is sure to delight Pusheen’s many dedicated fans.
Before I read this book, I had assumed that Pusheen was just a Facebook emoticon. I’m so glad I picked this comic up! It’s a quick, entertaining, and adorable read. Fans of cute drawings and adorable cats will love this! We get to see Pusheen and all her antics, plus we also see her sister, Stormy.
I loved how this book could make you laugh and want to share with other people the cuteness that is Pusheen! I was randomly stopping and laughing at random pages before finishing. This is usually about a 15 minute read, but it took me about 40 minutes just because it was really hard to keep from going “awwwww” every other page or so. When I finished reading this, I read it again, just because I could!
The only aspect that I did not enjoy was the fact that I couldn’t enjoy the animations as much because I was seeing it from my Kindle.
I recommend that if you want a quick, fun read, you should definitely pick up the physical version of this book.
I’ve had a thing with Pusheen for a while now, either with the Tumblr posts of using her in every single chat I have in Facebook, you can ask Marianne about those. This book didn’t disappoint. Full of humor, cuteness overloads, you won’t want to put it down until you reach the last page. It was a quick read for me, about 20 minutes and I read it twice, plus the other day again. It’s so cute and funny, you’ll want to read it again and again, plus share it to anyone around you. I know I did. In this book we get to see a compilation of Tumblr posts of Pusheen plus a few other stuff everyone will love. Let it be because you love her, cats, or drawings and animations, you’ll like this. We get to know Pusheen, her younger sister Stormy (which I didn’t know of), and their occurrences all year round.
The only thing I didn’t like was that it was short. Or maybe I was so desperate to read it all that I ended it too soon….? Nah. Though I have the ARC, I’d love to have a print copy just to open random pages and laugh. Good for all ages young and old, it is impossible not to love Pusheen.
I don’t own any cats, just a small dog. I don’t like cats as in having one as a pet, but because of Pusheen I have found myself wanting a cat, even if I know it’ll not be as cute or help me blog at all (ha), it’d be nice :3
This book is a nice addition to fans of Pusheen, and if you want more added content, you can see it for free on Tumblr 😀 If you’re expecting different stuff, don’t feel bad when you buy it because it’s pretty much the same. Though it doesn’t mean it’s not worth buying, because at least for me, it is. Now I know what I’ll buy with my x-mas money (if I can…)

Cats are really adorable. But my dog won’t let me have a cat. She’s possessive but I love my dog so much. 😀
