Happy Halloween guys!
Admittedly, this was supposed to be posted on Tuesday (for Top Ten Tuesday) but I was sick and forgot to schedule the post. Anyways, I’m posting it now, so enjoy! 😛
Halloween is a big deal over here in America. October 1st comes along and all everyone can talk about it Halloween. Everyone’s always looking for bigger and better costumes to wear. Halloween isn’t for little kids anymore!
That being said, here are some characters I wanted to dress up as for Halloween:
From Movies & Pop Culture:
1 Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family: Because I already have a resting bitch face and it would just take me wearing her clothes to become her. Plus, Wednesday is awesome and hilarious even if she doesn’t try.
2 Amy Pond from Doctor Who: DW is one of my favorite shows, and Amy was an amazing companion (in my opinion). I actually tried to cosplay as her in Comic Con last year, but it didn’t quite turn out well.. It was an epic fail actually. Lol.
3 Dorothy Gale from The Wizard of Oz: She is technically a book character, but I love the movie so much that I decided to choose the movie version. I love Dorothy. I think she is so cute and whimsical and I’ve always loved her style.
4 Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender: I saw Avatar the Last Airbender in it’s entirety in about 2 weeks. I love that series so much and I always thought Katara was really badass. Plus her bending was amazing! If you haven’t seen the series, I seriously recommend it!
5 Leia Organa from Star Wars: I’ve only just recently watched the Star Wars movies and I’m ashamed to have seen them NOW when I could’ve watched them such a long time ago. Anyways, Princess Leia is so awesome, and her sense of style is amazing. I’d dress up as her in a heartbeat. (I was actually going to dress up as her for Halloween but I got sick and couldn’t :().
6 Ariel from The Little Mermaid: {Fun fact} I actually want to cosplay as Ariel for Comic Con next year. She’s always been one of my favorite Disney princesses and I’m always looking for an excuse to dye my hair extreme colors 😉
From Books:
7 Karou from Daughter of Smoke and Bone: The fact that I could have blue hair and tattoos is enough for me to want to dress up as Karou not only for Halloween, but maybe for the rest of my life 😉
8 Alice from Alice in Wonderland/Splintered: Ever since reading Splintered I’ve wanted to dress up as Alice for Halloween. I think I’d make it sort of a gothic Alice (kind of like the cover for A.G. Howard’s book) because that would look amazing.
9 Scarlet Benoit from Scarlet by Marissa Meyer: I think Scarlet is amazing and she is a modern Little Red Riding Hood. I would love to dress up as her!
10 Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games: How could I not include her in this list? Her costume is fairly simple, plus I get to walk around with a bow and arrow just because. Yes please. 🙂
So, these are some of the characters I wish I could dress up as for Halloween. I couldn’t dress up as anything for Halloween because I’m sick and have been ordered bed rest for at least 5 days. But hey! At least I have 10 ideas for next year!
Is there a character you’d like to dress up as for Halloween that I didn’t include in this list? Let me know!
I haven’t even read Daughter of Smoke and Bone, but I totally agree that blue hair and tattoos would be awesome! Scarlet would be fun too!

You should definitely read Daughter of Smoke and Bone then! I’d dress up as any character from that series. 😀
