Weekly Wrap Up
Guysssssssssssss. I’M BACK!
The semester is finally over, I quit my job, and now my summer looks like 2 and a half months of freedom! I’ve got to admit that I really missed blogging, and I missed going around my favorite blogs. That’s all going to change now!
Like I mentioned in the Latte Night Obsession post, I am currently obsessing over Daredevil. Seriously if you haven’t watched that show, use this summer vacation for a nice binge-watch. It’s only 13 episodes and they’re absolutely amazing.
I went to Comic Con last weekend, and had an absolute blast! I won’t spam you with pictures, but if you want to see some, go to my Instagram. I posted a couple. 🙂
I watched Pitch Perfect 2 yesterday. It was a totally impulse decision, but I’m really glad I chose to watch it! Espect my review sometime soon. The writing was okay, but I really loved the music, and now I have this song stuck in my head:
Speaking of songs stuck in my head, Buzzfeed recently shared a video of an Acapella version of Sia’s song Chandelier. If you remember from my previous posts, I am a huge fan of acapella. Here’s the video if you want to experience audio awesomeness, watch this video:
Monthly Reads
This month I read 5 books. I’ve been trying to tackle my TBR pile, and I was kind of succesful in that part (-2 books!) but at least my Netgalley/Edelweiss pile is getting lower! 😀
Beastly Bones by William Ritter: 4-4.5 stars from me. I can’t actually review it yet, since the book comes out in September, but I’ve got to say that I really loved it.
End of Days by Susan Ee: 5 stars. You can see my review, here.
Last to Know by Micalea Smeltzer: 2.5-3 stars. I’ll be reviewing this one on another blog where I’m a co-reviewer, but I really wasn’t all that impressed. The main character really soured the book for me.
Red Rising by Pierce Brown: 5 stars. BLOODYDAMN BRILLIANT.
I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios: ALL THE STARS! OH MY GOD. I have a new all-time favorite book. It was absolutely amazing. ❤
Overall, my month was pretty good book wise. I only disliked one of the books I was reading, so I’d say it’s an overall great thing 🙂
Stacking the Shelves
I haven’t bought many books, admittedly. All the books pictured below are either thanks to the #booksfortrade tag on Twitter, or I received an unsolicited ARC (Some Girls) the only book I bought was The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, because it was on sale on Amazon! ❤
Wow. You’re making so many changes in your life! All the time in your hands…and all the books you can read! Oh and Twisted Measure is awesome. I’m a subscriber to their YouTube channel.
Enjoy your reads!

Isn’t Daredevil awesome? I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it at first, as the previews did nothing for me, and then I watched all the episodes over the weekend it was released. Oops. Sooo good, it’s making me look forward to the other Marvel/Netflix shows 🙂
I hope you have a wonderful summer!
